It simply says: dongle.ġ) I right clicked on CSR BlueCore Bluetooth, then update drivers, search automatically. So the system has not yet regonized, that there is bluetooth enabling hardware plugged in.Ĭ) When i go to Settings, bluetooth and other devices, I can see it under "Other devices". After I connected the adapter into USB port, I checked the port typing in terminal lsusb and I got the following: Bus 002 Device 003: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode) 2. In the meantime I tried it on about 6 different USB 2.0 and 3.0 slots, same result:Ī) In the Device List, I can see the following appearing when I plug it in: Universal Serial Bus Controllers: CSR BlueCore Bluetoothī) There is NO bluetooth section in the device manager. I have Win10, so I put it into a USB 2.0 Slot - but no joy. Supports bluetooth ( wireless ) peripherals like keyboards, mice, headsets, stereo headphones, etc. I just bought the TP-LINK UB400 Bluetooth 4.0 Nano USB Adapter Backwards compatible with bluetooth versions 2.1 / 2.0 / 3.0.
